Employee Spotlight: Welcoming Ben to the CEG Team

We’re excited to welcome Ben to the CEG team this month as our new Engineering Manager. Ben brings a strong background in commercial development within the civil engineering industry, with experience focused on delivering high-quality projects from concept through completion. His passion for thoughtful design, collaboration, and community impact aligns closely with CEG’s mission of creating practical and sustainable engineering solutions.

“What drew me to civil engineering is a genuine love for creating and designing spaces that improve the lives of the communities we serve,” Ben shares. “There’s something deeply rewarding about seeing a project come to life and knowing it makes a real difference for the people who use it every day.”

At the core of Ben’s approach is collaboration and attention to detail. He believes that strong teamwork leads to more thorough, efficient, and cost-effective project outcomes, ensuring the best possible results for both clients and communities.

Ben is especially passionate about projects that bring teams together around a shared purpose and create meaningful community impact. His commitment to problem-solving and quality design makes him a valuable addition to the CEG team.

Outside of work, Ben enjoys spending time on the golf course, playing pickleball, and making memories with his family. A recent graduate of the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga with a degree in civil engineering, Ben also helped build and lead UTC Club Pickleball, an experience that strengthened his leadership, communication, and teamwork skills.
