Glenwood Residential Development

The Glenwood project is a new residential community designed to bring much-needed housing options to the hospital district of Chattanooga. With so many nurses, technicians, and support staff working in this area every day, there has been a growing need for accessible and well-located homes. This development helps fill that gap by creating quality housing within walking distance of the medical campus, making daily life easier for the people who keep our healthcare system running.

Working within a smaller urban parcel required a thoughtful and intentional design approach. Our team spent significant time studying the site, shaping a layout that fits the land and maximizes its potential without overwhelming the surrounding neighborhood. Every unit placement, access point, and grading decision was crafted to create a functional and comfortable community that works with the existing terrain rather than against it. The result is a design that respects the character of the area while adding new opportunities for residents.

Throughout the process, we collaborated closely with the City of Chattanooga to ensure the project met local requirements and aligned with the city’s goals for the district. There were several rounds of review and conversation, but the partnership helped create a stronger, more refined design that serves both the community and the people who will live there.
